More likely:

A. news organization halfway around the world, in the midst of attack and confusion accidentally miss-states than of a group of 7 buildings named WTC 1-7, 6 of which had already been destroyed, that WTC 7 has collapsed.

or

B. news organization is actually in on the conspiracy, and knew 7 was coming down, but the script they were supposed to read was wrong or mistimed.

There was so much confusion in those early hours that it was hard to keep track of anything. There were news reports about attacks on the National Mall and other air planes unaccounted for and all sorts of stuff that happens in the fog of an incident like this.

And, again, to what end? Why did 7 matter at all?
