Chithead! I almost bought one but they had raced it in SCCA or something, was a pain to get inside the roll cage. I started it and blue smoke rolled out all over it had 35K or something on it and bald track tires. He said it had the Shelby chip and all in it but was mostly stock drivetrain otherwise, and no AC/radio/no nothing. A friend of mine had one in the day, fun car, HP ratings on those are pure bs. Always wanted a GLHS. I had a couple of the normal ones, certainly the Model T of its day. I swear one could fix anything with a pair of pliers figuratively. I put a clutch in one in like 1.5 hours the first time around. Got 35mph driving the wheels off them in mixed. Another guy had a GLH non turbo and if you did it right the suspension was so tight you could slide the rear around a corner, freaked people out like nothing else. Later on I pacified myself by getting a DSM awd turbo.
Sometimes I wonder how that Cobalt SS turbo runs, they did a good lap at the track with it.
