The felt trim around one of my doors got ripped off. Doh! It normally attaches to the weather stripping around the door. What's a good adhesive to use? Something that won't melt off when it hits 101 degrees in Pasadena.

Never use 3M! that product or line of products sucks! Check with Rick McCallum over at raamaudio.com. He sells this spray on adhesive that kicks ass. I got some V&S Aircraft adhesive from him, and now he says he has a much better product. BUT if you must, then use 3M Super90 or even better, the DAP Welwood Contact Cement

What are you basing that on? I 3m-ed my old cars headliner and it worked perfectly.

Past experience. I used 3M Super 90 and was disappointed bigtime. Compared to using the V&S, its black and white difference.

Fair enough :D
Come to think of it, the other times I tried using 3M general adhesive, it sucked.

I agree, 3M is craptastic. It comes out as a fine mist and doesn't really get the job done. I got DAP from raamaudio when I ordered my Ensolite, and it's great. Very controlled spray, comes out thick and tacky, no waste.
