Yes they do. I wonder if the surround would just correct itself after a little use or if theyre just creased for good.

I wouldn't buy those with the surrounds like that. I remember when I blew one of my Focal midbasses from a 130k set and took them out to replace them with some old MB Quarts, the cones where sort of deformed. I saw someone selling some on ebay that had the same cone deformation.
After seeing what the cones looked like on mine after about 1 1/2 years, and the fact that I ripped the tensil leads right out of the cone of the left speaker, I made up my mind right then that I'd never use Focal speakers again.
I wouldn't use KEF speakers either, if the surrounds do that after some use.

i'll be hesitant to buy those just because he describe those speakers are "like new" which they are obviously not.

They don't. I have a pair of those drivers from ca. 1994 and the surrounds still look normal. I suspect that the person did something to damage the surround. Like putting a brick on top of the drivers or something.

if the surrounds aren't actually torn they should straighten back out with use.

I hope they will, because I bought them. I know someone that I hope can help with repairing the surround if needed. The problem is that I bought these without knowing if I can properly adapt them to fit. If not, they'll be back up for sale:( .
