Ever realized that we have close to 500 members, yet only 15-20 of them post reguarly, or you see a repetition of the same names that come up on the boards, mabey another 10 that post a few times a week. At least the people that contribute alot to this site are really knowledgable, that makes this board what it is. :)
Just thought that was an odd thing, alot of people must be registered just to get the information on the forums......but never post.
Thought it was sorta strange yet funny.....I love this place, i've learned ALOT, and there are some really nice people that call DIYMA home as well. This site is my most visited, more than SIN, ECA, or anywhere else i visit.
Again thanks Nyugen, for giving this place to us to use that i've been calling home for awhile now, and all the other members that contribute so much to make this site what it is.

No but he left it open to interpretation...and I quote:

But I agree with you...
Hey its nice to see some more top names in here...Mr Marv you do some incredible work. I have respected your fabrication ability for a long time now. And adding to that list of names is Rick McCallum of RaamAudio. Another person I repect...

A lot of people might join not knowing what they're getting into - not realizing until after they sign up and browse some threads that this isn't the place where you ask whether you should get a 3000W Viper or Hifonics amp for your subs. Most people just probably join to do some research and browse around, and have nothing to say.

:o I never did notice that Marv, makes me feel special :D
None the less there is tons of information on this site, more usefull than any other site that i know of, at a understandable level as well, not completely oblitterated with technical gibbergabber you need a Doctorate to understand, but rather straight to the point, and alot of times in laymens terms we can all understand.
It is great to have people like Marv, and Rick, people that really do know what they are doing, and can shed some light for people like me.....who strive to know this hobby inside and out, and have it show with my work.

I still feel I'm in the learning curve here. Usually by the time I get to a post any information that I have has already been stated, and then some. I just feel that I have a while to go before I'm a major contributor.
I'd be more of a contributor if Nguyen would test those damn speakers I sent him... :p

I enjoy reading the posts here but don't have much to offer in the way of advice or anything. I'm getting ready to deploy to Iraq and hope to be able to continue reading from this forum. Maybe once I get back and can start building my Jeep up I'll have more to offer. I've got everything to build my doors but it's too cold out now to do it. Besides, I'm leaving in Jan. One of the things I plan to study extensively is PC RTAing and system setup/tweeking. So, hopefully I'll have something to add in that respect at some time in the future. Otherwise system setup and electronics I know, the namebrands typically mentioned on this forum I haven't had much experience with yet. The other forums I like to read are http://www.caraudiocentral.net/ and http://www.glassmanscustomforum.com/. Thanks for the info and I look forward to contributing in any way I can in the future.

I don't post here often.....mainly because I'm sort of out of the DIY scene. Though I do lurk around about once a week as I find this to still be an extremely knowledgeable forum.

im on this site about twice a day if not more just hoping something has been tested or just to learn more.
I would have to agree that this site is extremely informative and gives it to you straight and to the point. some great people post here.
I used to go to termpro.com everyday until I found this site. termpro just got too congested and many idiotic questions were asked, plus I used to be into "more bass is better" thing. (basshead) but for the most part grew out of it.
I post ONLY if something was missed or if I had experience in the area mentioned. other then that I keep my mouth shut
