There are a myriad different versions for the tc9. Be sure of what you're getting.

I thought so. but truthfully, the thing that made the biggest impression on me was he seemed to have a huge quantity for sale.

I believe the feedback on caraudio was positive, and I recall that he sold a large quantity (at what seemed to me like a really attractive price).

There were lots sold on ca.com. And the buyers were pleased, but getting a TC-9 for $115 is a great deal.

Here's the new thread on ca.com:

It's actually the same guy...

The guy who was selling them told me all about them, and how they are pretty much exactly the same as the TC-9

They are actual TC-9's but he said they have different parts, most importantly he stated the ones he has have a longer excursion, as the TC-9's from TC Sounds are limited mechanically by the leads and other factors, but not thermal.

He sold about 15 of them with just normal black caps and they got bought out pretty fast, but people were not so turned onto the ones with Alumapro on them for some reason.

I was told these are just some extra's the company had that he "fixed", or they were just trying to get rid of... don't ask me... the story got all confusing after that point. Regardless the people that bought them tested them and were pleased with the results. I believe many people are powering them with around 1200w or so.. and said they do fine.

Idk to me that seems like alot of power to be feeding to one sub. Not very efficient if you ask me.
