After realizing that roto-zips are Man's worst creation I'm going to get a circle guide for my router...I know I know..I can make my own. But I don't wanna.
I was either going to get a jasper jog from PE, or go with this craftsman router guide: link (http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?cat=Power+Tool+Accessories&pid=00925179000&vertical=TOOL&subcat=Router+Tables+%26+Attachments&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes).
I have a craftsman router, btw. If this doesn't fit I can take it back, but I'm pretty sure it will. I'd appreciate input, cause I need something by this weekend.

I wouldnt even bother with that one. It looks like a PITA. here is a nicer one. I know its a little more expensive but its definitely well worth it.

i personally own that because i was in need of a setup and didnt have time to wait. it will work, but it is a PITA. i also ended up having the dowel on the circle adapter break off, so i use a nail now. if you need to be exact over and over, its not for you. this will do the job, but it will take some extra effort

I don't think there are better circle jigs than the Jasper at that price?
On the other hand I have used a Craftman plunge router and that Craftman circle jig with no problems what so ever....I would buy a Jasper if I had to buy one all over again....with the Craftman you have to measure the radius...the Jasper is much more easy in that you don't!

I used a RotoZip for years until it was stolen. Thank God for that! I now use the Jasper and couldnt be happier! Get the bigger one though as I bought both and never use the small one. If I need to make small hiles I just use a Hole saw.

I had the one above and tossed it. Figured Id give a try when I waqs at Sears one day. Ive been using the Jasper for years and it has never failed me. Ease of use is second to none.
Another one that I have is this..

But I still prefer the Jasper for both ease of use as well as cost, being that its half the cost.

I have that craftmen jig and it is hard to work with. It's definitely hard to make smaller circles (for smaller drivers etc.) and it's bulky and cumbersome to use.

I wish they had a metal or ceramic jasper jig the plastic on the jig is kinda brittle. it works great however with my hitachi router m12v
