I had a pair of the ss6 mb and the only positive thing i can say wbout them was they were shallow. i did put a pair into a mustang shaker in place of the factory 8 and they pur out some bass.

The 8's fit fine, too. It's a shame the only real value to them is power handling.

Seriously, though- how CAN you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?!

They are better than nothing, and their output is pretty good...subbass capability too.

There are some 5.25 out there that are cheap with better bass than these. When I got them disappointed is the word to discribe my feelings toward these. You can dooooo sooooo much better for 8s and if you dont have the room go with some 6.5 or 7s you will be much happier in the long run. All youhave to do is make a spacer to make them fit.
