My name is Tim. I am a father first and foremost. My daughter is about to turn 8. I'm a car builder and have been building hot rods and custom cars for 16 years now. Car building is a passion I turned into job while car audio is a passion I have kept as a hobby since around 1988. At times I feel burned out with cars but the fire that burns for car audio never seems to fade. Until I came to DIYMA I thought great sound and great equipment was too far out of reach financially and I always had to make do with what I could afford. Now I'm more proud than ever with the way my system sounds and have a whole new outlook on car audio. The excitement has never been stronger. Thanks to all the guys here at DIYMA for helping me find a way to do what I could never do before.

Should I mention the women? Well they are a big part of my life so I guess I will. I love women. I was in a deadend marriage for 10 years and have been single again for the past 5 years. In those 5 years I have found the real me and have never been happier. Also in those 5 years I have learned the secret to surrounding myself with women and because of that I now have many many friends. Everywhere I go I see someone who is happy to see me. It's a great feeling to finally find yourself and actually be yourself after 30 years of searching. Recently I met someone who just might be the next wife. Things just keep getting better:)

Hey Tim,

Good to hear that you are finding someone nice to date. Dating aimlessly is always fun, but it has moments of staleness. Congrats on the find. Keep rocking rockstar!!!!!

Whadup Ben? Long time no hear from. You can ship them back anytime it's convenient for you. I'm still far from ready to use them so I'm not missing them. Does the MAW15 come with?:D :p

How be you Chu? Thanks for the congrats. You are absolutely right about the stale thing. Eventially it all becomes the same old same old. How are things going for you in that department?

Congrats, she looks happy. You look like you haven't had enough to drink:o . Well things in that dept ehh, nothing special I've got a small rotation of chicks that I'm dating but don't see much going on with them. I'm dating an xgf, shes 37 smoking hot, and sexy, a girl I picked up a few weeks ago in a bar, she's kind of boring, and I've got a coffee date later today with a 21 year old, who's still in college, a part time model and a 10 in my eyes. But I don't even see much going on for her but a random throw here and there.

But overall its stale right now man. Not to sound misogynistic or conceited, but I'm waiting to be impressed.

Good for you, I'm envious. Keep me updated man. The game is fun, but after a while you realize it is still a game.

Chu, I'm pretty sure she is happy and she makes me happy. She's not at all boring, she's very intelligent and determined, and she matches me nearly perfectly in all the ways that matter. I havn't let the old heart out of lockdown for a while now but she has pulled it back out of hiding. This one could hurt if it doesn't work out.

I look like I'm glowing in that pic. I was welding that day and I dont use a helmet...I'm dumb like that:blush:

Its all good, getting hurt is part of the game. And the risk of getting hurt is half the fun. Its when you go into a situation without feeling that risk it becomes stale and even boring.

Welding with helmet? Is that smart? ;)

Good to see that you may have found that special one. This site has opened my eyes to a new dimension of car audio also. Sorry I haven`t been much of a myspace friend, I just get bored with that stuff.
