Not even close to being complete but here's some pics, 95% of the work is done...........

horn under dash driver's side; Dayton RS180 in factory location.

horn under dash passenger side; Dayton RS180 in factory location; this horn might actually cause me to sell my cd2 drivers and get cd2 neo drivers or step down to cd1 pro drivers because there is a computer directly above this horn which is blocking the height I seek to get the horn higher

My Memphis Belle......................actually my 2nd one, I had the vintage looking Belle which I bought new but it had "issues". This one is working well and I have no power complaints with it running my subs @ 1 ohm

This is everything in the trunk until I can come up with something better. 2 Kicker L7's in a sealed enclosure, a PPI DEQ-230 equalizer for the horns and the Memphis Belle right above them both with 4 cooling fans [just in case].

The Lemon which is why I say the system is 95% done. The Eclipse 8445 head unit. I purchased this from an ebay seller [store] new and it's been problematic. The JVC h/u will be going back in and this will be shipped back to the store who will most likely ship it back to Eclipse, then back to me, i.e. 2 months, lol. All in all this head unit has surprised me..................when it was functioning properly. The features alone are worth the wait. The only drawback will be finding an old BMW headunit and ripping the face off of it to make a dummy faceplate to conceal it when parked anywhere but my garage.
The joke is I could have purchased an ipod or mp3 unit and done a Scosche Bluetooth direct to my Belle and been done, but go figure.

How does it sound? Loud when I want it to be. Clear at all times. Never boomy. The horns are incredible.

Thanks for the pics of the horns. I'm 99.9% convinced that I'll be using the CD1pro MH's in my M3 as well. I should have time to jump into that part of the install after Easter. I've got fiberglass work to do in the mean time. Right now, I'm leaning toward the CD1pro's and Peerless 6.5" mids for the front with the same Eclipse 8445. You've got my hopes up as well. How much equalization have you needed so far? Can the head unit (8445) handle it alone?

honestly? YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the 8445's equalization was more than enough to tackle the cd2's and I'm using Dayton RS 180's with them, the front stage is phenominal
I haven't even begun to use the time alignment and I'm considering doing Eclipse's E-ISERV to see what they can do with my setup

I remember using the cd1pro's...took me awhile to get the gains set properly but they sounded awesome when set up right.

I'll be using 2 of the Big Belle amps in my car this year. They're freakn' huge.
