Default A DXZ775USB or a 9887/880prs?

Are the Pioneer 880prs and Alpine 9887 worth $150 to $200 more than a Clarion DXZ785USB? I need a USB input for I'm adding the cost of adapters to the total.

Have you taken your device to a local shop and played around with the USB interfaces on all of 'em? That's one way to decide if it's worth it to you, considering the fact you're probably thinking of a hard drive or something and navigation will be essential.

The Clarion doesn't use quite as nice of internals I'm sure, but nonetheless I think they're wonderful decks.

My advice on this particular unit is to demo it in person before purchasing. The user interface is quite unique, and IMO quirky. Just saw a 775 last weekend, and was surprised at how non-intuitive (IMO) the unit was from a usability standpoint. The majority of the front face actually slides to actuate the functions. Very different than anything I've ever experienced. The sound seemed good enough, and it's surely a good value feature wise...... But for me, no rotary volume control or quirky controls = deal breaker.

GL.

Eclipse CD7200mkII.

That's your best option IMO. No adapters, USB standard, BT standard, 3-way active standard, all the options you'll ever need. Do some research on it

Eclipse CD7200mkII | Phoenix Gold RSd65cs's (Soon to be Seas ER18's & TBI TWEP51's) | Dayton HO 10" | Alpine PDX2.150 | Alpine PDX1.600 | eDeadv1.2 | Knu 4AWG |

I considered the DXZ775USB, but couldn't get past the looks.
