Does Anybody Know Who Has the RSDs In Stock?

Pretty self explanatory. Buddy of mine wants the 6.5" set and is having a hell of a time finding them. They're for sale on eBay but the seller (dynamicautosounds) doesn't actually have them, I checked. Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm, good find. Pricey though. I wonder if they actually have them. Reason I say that is this guy actually ordered the eBay set from dynamicautosounds and they never came. So he sent an email and they said they didn't have them in stock but would ship them when they did, no date provided. He asked for his money back. Pretty shady, IMO.

They are discontinued (atleast that's what it says on sonicelectronics site), so I don't think they are getting a shipment in anytime soon.

Pricegrabber found them at onlinecarstereo, and it showed them as in stock.

That's the thing, I'm not positive they're discontinued. I got my set from Audiosavings, and emailed them to ask if they had more, and they responded that they'd be getting some in a few weeks. He's just impatient, that's all. Everything's done, just waiting on the front stage- I'm sure you know the feeling. Here's the link to the eBay auction I was referring to, by the way. Atleast that ebay seller doesn't have them listed in quantity. Like that he has 10 sets for sale, but he doesn't have any instock. He'd put himself in a niiice deep hole with that one.

Tell him to wait. Audiosavings also emailed me when they got them in and I was able to snag them on ebay. I paid $87 shipped for PG RSD65cs and $57 shipped for PG RSD6.5. Another option may be to get the 6" instead of 6.5" version. The 6" are less popular and so more people seem to have them in stock.

Thanks for the help. I have considered the 6" variant, but these things are known for midbass and I didn't want any compromise in that area, even if only a little bit. I suppose I'll either tell him to be patient, pay more through onlinecarstero, or pay even more for a different, comparable set.

same experience with dynamicautosounds. I had to get a refund TWICE. They dont tell you they hardly stock anything.

No, a budy of mine owns a local shop, he had bought a few pair and never used them, so I bought em. But I can also buy them through one of my local distributors for not much more.
