Default What hu or processor would i need for a 2008 honda accord

I was wondering...What hu, processor and module do would I need if I was to run a aftermarket sq system in there?

I have a p880prs already not sure if that will work in there. The reason I am asking, I might be trading in car for it.

I have a feeling that I might have to go with all alpine..

Thanks for the future answers...

I Second this.

However, the 2008 is a new model, so I have my doubts that any mounting kits have been made for it yet. Given that the audio system is integrated into everything in the dash, your only current option might be to get something like a 360 to add processing to the factory HU.

I don't know if I'm correct, but this is my $.02

A couple dash kit companies have shown kits for the '08 accord in print form. Whether they are shipping I dont know but there will definitely be something available.

You should stick with the car you have now. Audio is obviously too expensive of a hobby to be venturing into.

Alrite, Ive been doing some research on this car. So basically I can buy an aftermarket radio and put it in here single din or doble din. So I dont need a 360 or cleansweep. I found most of the basic things here http://www.metraonline.com/vehicleguide.aspx.. Also I would be buying the 2008 honda accord ex 4 cylinder. So I would not need any processors or anything and my p880prs would be a great fit for this car..

BTW I had some extra time today and I went to the dealership and this car is pretty cool....nice and roomy and overrall just nice..it beats my Camry rite now..I might buy it in the near future....

Do you absolutely want an after market head unit. The EX head unit should be acceptable with regards to SQ once connected to something like an Alpine PXE-H650. The Alpines output layout should match perfectly to the speaker layout of that car. You could probably get away with a complete stealth install as well.

User DOMN8R has a set up similar to this and it was said in one of his threads that its sound good with the OEM head unit (and this is the head unit on the LX which might be of lesser quality then the EX variety.)

If you have an 880PRS, I don't think you need any more processing than that. That thing has got a whole slew of things packed in it.

Alpine 9886, H701+C701, Seas Neo, Vifa TG9, ID CX62, Pair of IDQ10v2s, Audio Planet BB175.4B, Clarion APA4101 and of course, RAAM!
