Default ZAPCO Eq install halfway I guess... Wish I had more room!

I am using the Zapco EQ to match the amps because it can be used as a transmitter for the symbilink cables... Its actually pretty nice I like it cuz it acts as a bass nob, 4 band EQ, fader, master system volume control and a sub crossover. The bitch is that the Symbilink cables and the RCA from the bottom are about 1" more to the Eq than I have room for. I have cut pulled and trimmed as much as possible and there is no way to get the extra inch or so that I need.

I could EASILY put it in the arm rest, but then any time I want to adjust something I have to get in there open it up... Thats stupid. I think I will jam it in there the best I can, and build it up a lil, hope to have about 1/2" or so sticking up and thats what it looks like when I push down on it best I can.

I guess I will have to build it up or move it...If anyone has some suggestions let me know! Oh this is a 300C SRT8 has tons of room, just not where I want it!

Thanks

OMG I have lost my mind....

Guess I will not have any cup holders. This is the only way I could cut was with a dremel bit, I will clean it up with the sander but you wont see it anyway...

Its going in the cupholder stealthy. Way more room there

Somewhere around that. If I remember it is at an angle though. I would test fit to see if it works for you.

I like the cupholder idea, but it might stick out more once you add rcas ?

the last pics there with the face on it has the RCA and SYM cable. I think the ashtray idea will work though because the angle is on the right, and there are no connectors over there.

Here are some pics

damn. So much for the cupholders, lol. You'll figure out a way around that though. Definitely looks better and is easier to adjust in the dash though. If you can integrate it there, I'd do it.
Hey, also wanted to say that the kicks came out beautifully. Well done

I'm not a fan of the 300Cs either. However, yours looks fantastic. Those wheels look at home on that car. VERY well done sir.

Are the OEM parts cheap (all the stuff you're cutting up)?

oem parts are never cheap

But Im sure hell find a creative way to massage it.

Actually, if you can take that panel out, you can just fiberglass/bondo it and then paint it up. It'll look just like new...kind of.

I know what you mean. I should rephrase that probably. Coming from the BMW world, most non-BMW parts are 'cheap' in my view. lol
