Ok instead of bringing up my dead thread, I will just start a new one.
List of what is installed: Alpine CDA-9887 / Ipod and XM Arc Audio IDX Hertz Mille MLK 165 comps Bi-amped Arc Audio KS125.2 mini Amp x 2 Hertz Hi-Energy HX 250 Sub x 2 Arc Audio KS1000.1 Tons of Scosche Accumat and wiring So I started this many months ago and I just havn't updated it. I still have a few trim panels to make to finish it off so hopefully soon it will be finally done. Pictures with be below. Jason |

Alpine Wiring Harness, Fully soldered up.
![]() All the wiring for the radio. ![]() Alpine Kce-300bt Bluetooth Module mounted on A/C box behind Glovebox. ![]() Alpine CHA-s624 Cd Changer mounted below driver seat, still have easy access to magazine with door truck closed. ![]() Ipod / Usb Cable attached in the glovebox. ![]() Alpine IVA-x001 Receiver with the Ram Sport nav. dash Peice. Gone for now. I might go back to it if I get the IDA-w505. ![]() Original Dash peice that my truck came with. ![]() Lower dash pocket being removed for Arc IDX and a PAC bass knob. ![]() Trim peice sectioned out for IDX and drilled for knob. ![]() Mount test fit using factory screw to hold in place. ![]() ![]() ![]() Added aluminum(real) to bring rear trim to the front. ![]() Fully mounted Arc IDX and Bass knob Thanks to JL Cleansweep for the knob. ![]() Alpine Install and I like the look better then before. Notice the Elettromedia Demo Disc.

Full dash view, everything is quite easy to reach. Only downside, I need to keep a small screwdriver in my truck now to fine tune every now and then.

Yes I do love the mlk 165s. I had them installed in my last car with a LRX 5.1k and were amazingly clear and very accurate.

Update.
Here is some of wiring that I did. Just power wire for now. Here is the way loomed the power wire. First I used split loom and then Expandable sleeving over the "show" end with Shrink tube to hold it all together. ![]() Here is a mount I made to hold my Scosche fuse block. ![]() The back side of the block made gussets to help support the weight of the block. ![]() Just a side view showing gussets. ![]() Fuse block mounted and ground wiring. I made the Ground come out the bottom of the block insead of using hte normal grounding location. ![]() Then I used security screws to hold the fuse block to the mount. ![]() Jason |

The engine bay preped for wiring. had to remove the wiper cowl to accomplish what I wanted.
![]() Block mounted with pan head screws and "speed clips" on the underside. ![]() Side of the block, giving you a look at the "show" wiring. ![]() Cover on Fuses in and powered up. ![]() Night shot to show standing voltage and fuse lights. ![]() one 4 Gauge and two 8 Gauge power wire run inside the truck, and then Silicone to seal.

Head unit: Eclipse CD 7000 Front stage: Critical Mass8" mid bass, 6.5" 2way comps, 2 Sundown SAX 100. Rear Fill: Critical Mass 4" coax (for the rear passengers) Bottom end: 1 RE XXX 15",Sundown SAZ 3000d Iraggi 260 amp alt. 4 Stinger spv 70 Batts

New upgraded wire from the Alternator, unfused like the factory wire.
![]() New ground wire factory wire was a thick jacketed 10 gauge. ![]() More upgraded grounds. Large wires are 0 gauge and small wire is the above 4 gauge. ![]() Factory connection at alternator. ![]() New connection, had to lose the cover. ![]() Wire coming across engine zipped with fatory wire. ![]() Ground connection at the battery. ![]() All the new wires zipped with factory stuff, 3 total 0 gauge wires here. ![]() Positive battery connection. ![]() Just a picture of my old fuse and holder. ![]() Jason |
