First off I want to say thanks to all the guys that answered all my nubee questions over the last year or so, it has helped me get to this point
![]() I have never been to any kind of comp before but would like to find something local and see how it goes. Can anyone see anything that the people/judges would frown on in the install end? I know I could make a cover plate to hide all the wires but I spent a lot of time making the wiring fit and look nice that I actually wanted to show it off. Any other suggestions would be appreciated as the only reference I have to go by are the pictures I have seen on the forums. The first few pics are just of my DIY RCAs ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Some guy on ebay usually has them for sale for a resonable price.
Its been a while but IIRC it was around $40-45 for 50 of them shipped |

Very nice work with great attention to detail. Sweet to see other "work trucks" get good systems, like my DMAX'ed Chevy CCSB 3/4 ton. Several other nice "truck" systems here also.

Thanks all
Chad ~ I put the terminal strip in when I first wired up the truck a couple of years ago and it has come in very handy with all the switching in and out of different amps. I would definitely do one again in my next vehicle, just a little nicer. Yes it is covered normally. |

The reason I asked about the cover is that in my truck that area seems to be the catch-all for lighters and quarters
So are the amps ont he hard-wire side or the speakers?

Nope, the hard wire side is the speakers and the push lock side goes to the amps. The carpet and pad cover that whole area so if anything were to get between the seat and back it would just fall onto the carpet. I bought about 80 pairs of those wire terminals long time ago, and really I am just dreaming up ways to use them up LOL |
