Hey all. Ever since I've found DIYMobile Audio, I've loved the install pics, the fabrication tips and tricks and I've even started an amature build of my own car system. With no experience in woodworking, electricity, etc, I've managed to make my own baffles, run wires through my car and create a false floor that I love to show off. I've been wondering recently though, are there any other quality sound forums or resources anyone would recommend? I'm looking for something more than the typical sounddomain forums and so far, DIYmobile has been a fantastic resource. Any ideas?

I'm more Try It Yourself than Do It Yourself. I try, but it ends more like Pay Someone Else.

I myself have searched as well. But I really dont think you will find a site better than this. I used to be in the industry/ SQ competitor, but that was LONG ago. It was refreshing to find this site. Was getting REALLY tired of the other sites. These people push and challenge. I feel the others just want quick answers and mostly not willing to search and look for themselves.

I've been looking through the forums here, yeah I'm a new user, but this forum seems pretty in depth and technical. though a little overbearing, it's a lot better than a discussion based on how I can put tweeters in my honda civic and make a pioneer ten in a sealed box make big boom. I think i'm gonna like it here. only other source I can think of for info that's not endless amounts of "I have this so it's the best" would be IASCA, even though it's not even what it used to be.
