I would first like to thank everyone here at diyma for all the insight I’ve gained from lurking around for the past few months. My install is very minimal compared to a lot of the projects here, but I wanted to share my build with the people who unknowingly helped me along.
Goal: Baby steps to SQ …… I couldn’t afford to go “all out at once” on my quest for a great sounding system, so I had to work on the project in steps throughout the past 8 months. As the saga continues, and it will, the gear I don’t like will be moved on to the wife’s car. hehehe! Gear: Head: Panasonic CQ-C3403U. The rear aux input and price were the main reasons. Ft stage: Goldwood GW-S650/4 6-1/2" with factory tweets. Amp: Hifonics Txi 6008 I plan to move up in the world here so don’t flame me to bad. Remember, baby steps. Rear fill: None Sub stage: 2 Dayton RSS265HO-4 10" in 1.25 cuft sealed Amp: Kicker zx1000.1 Step 1. Dampening the ft doors. 1 roll of RAAMmat. I have 3 layers on the inside of the outer panel and 2 layers on both sides of the inner. Before ![]() Let the fun begin!! In progress. ![]() The big holes covered. ![]() ![]() ensolite.
