Default 2 different color ppi pc amps

i bought the top one the other day thinking it would be a perfect match..can anyone explain this? i thought they were all suppose to be dark grey.

My Alpine V12s also have the same paint problem. I noticed it when I got an amp link for them. Must be from different manufacturing batches.

Better give me the top one Back in the day manufacturers used to make a lot of special addition colors and designs for the same amp so maybe that's what happened with that amp. I would say someone maybe painted (like my pc4100) but the logo and model number don't seem to be painted over so maybe not.

Some JoeShmoe mixed wrong paint after a long night of drinking: "well, limited edition time I suppose?!"
