Holy crap, if they are that much for the GB, what are they normally?

I have a few members on another site of mine that have gotten "good" HID kits for half that..

I do like the small ballists, they look like they would have to run cool to, to be encased in plastic like that....

I dont' see anything wrong with the price. There's a ton of HID vendor's online and you get what you pay for. Look at anything using a Philips bulb... $350+. Xenondepot is a lot more than this, so is this a hot deal because of that now? Sorry, I'll let you quote more eBay HID prices. ;)

Hey, did you guys see the Pyramid amplifier for $100? Why would you ever want old school Orion when you can get old school Pyramid for 1/2 the price? (catch my drift?)

I'm not throwing mud or anything, but I know people on other sites that have gotten HID kits cheaper (as I stated above) that have worked great for them... for quite a while.

Now, understand, i'm all about buying quality, but, i'm not going to pay more for the same if I don't have to... peroid...

Troy_audio, wow the price definitly changed.. that makes it a lot more tempting, but alas, my car HAD HID and they had to be removed due to the fact that I don't have HID capable HL housings(bad light scatter with the HID)... If I could drop the money for a TSX retro kit, I would, but can't at this time... or I would LOVE to have them..

I would like to thank you for spearheading this(i'm all about getting people good light, more the better IMHO), and I do hope you understand my "frugal-ness" of my posts... I'm NOT in any way, trying to dump on your thread or GB... i'm just trying to help take care of my peoples..

What type of connectors are they using in these kits to connetc to the factory bulb sockets? The kit I have has pins that get inserted into the connector (which sucks) instead of an actual molded connector that properly fits and seals...
They do, however have excellent color temp and brightness.

Every kit iv used was plug & play,
On my kia I had to drill 1 hole for the wires to pass thru
other than that it was all in all about a 15-20min install
same on the Versa

but I've seen multiple 8k HIDs that have different colors depending on the manufacturer. Plus, i'd rather have a 5-6k if I was to get one...

Scale I have is
4300k = Factory - In Stock Ready to Ship
6000k = Pure White - Pre Order Only
8000k = Blue/White - In Stock ready To Ship

In Stock Ready to Ship But I would still need 10 orders to get the
Group Buy Price..
