Shipping is calculated from Marietta GA and all shipping is by UPS. If there is any problem with UPS shipping then this should be noted in your shipping information letter. If air shipment is desired please indicate so in the letter for proper postage calculation.

Sweet. I have been working on my daily driver install since yesterday and will be done today. This works out great already will have one car to test them in against XT-19 and CDT DRT-25.

Gotta get my truck started and fininshed to test them against the Hertz MLK, then drive to where my comp car is being built and test them in it against the L1.

See if I can get them on the sound board give them a listen against everything in the shop and let the owner and installers take a listen and give some feedback.

Wow I finally won something.

I doing a very nice install starting Monday with some Scan 15W, Seas Lotus 27's tweeters and a Alto Mobile Falstaff 8, being feed by a Zapco DC650.6. I will test them in this install agaisnt the Lotus 27's and Hertz ML28/Space 1.

I know most of you guys will be running these in car, however, I'll be building a set of bookshelves for my dorm system using these. That being said, I know the TWEP's include a crossover at 3500Hz (-6dB), but does it have to be utilized? I'm not looking to venture into a 3-way bookshelf, so mating the TWEP51 to a 6.5-7" woofer would be optimal.

TBI says the tweet is good down to 2KHz, while the Seas ER18 is good up to 3KHz, so I was thinking that a 2.5KHz crossover, 12dB/octave each way would be nice. The other alternative would be pairing the TWEP's with Dayton RS180's or RS225's. I believe the 225's would not have enough top-end clarity and extension to please the tweets, so the 180's would be the more probable choice crossed at 2KHz.

What do you guys think? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :blush:

Once the reviews have been posted, how about offering a forum discount and free shipping to forum members? I think more people would buy a set if they were $150-160 shipped rather than $200 + shipping. TBI is not as well known as Seas or Scanspeak so spending $200 + shipping on unknown speakers is a bit risky so a discount would make it less risky.
