Sometimes I am working on something and just drift off... kind of lose my place and forget what I'm doing, very frustrating sometimes. Happens a lot when I am trying to do mathematical calculations in my head. I lose track of my numbers and go haywire. Or when working on my stereo I'll walk inside to get a tool and get to my tool bag just to forget what tool I was going to get. You guys experience this?

have you tried an EQ. dcx might help.
.....but yea it happens to me. although its decreasing I think. I think its your brains defense system....slowing things down for you, and keeping you less stressed out, well actually to keep you from getting excited. the Ego thinks emotions leave you vulnerable to attack. the cure I"ve found is....let go of everything, be nice and patient with yourself, let your emotions out (not at people), take breaks, and practice the math, system setup, and things with consideration for yourself. I mean practice understanding its a choice not a forced response. then you can slowly own your response-ability.
note: frustration is having a power struggle and losing. your soul gave power away to the ego so it can react fast to things. but you ego will protect you from your emotions. so when you struggle for power and are losing you get frustration. if you try to control a part of yourself, sometimes your ego is programmed not to give you any response-ability. its all to help keep you safe, so when you try to be on your own, its only natural for your heart not to "feel" its ok to give you back your power. so the only way to get your power back is to own your feelings. anger especially. without owing your anger, putting boundaries for your Ego is not possible. although careful the Ego will fight back, it believes keeping you in denial is the only way to keep you safe.
LOL....stuff is deep......and this is only the beginning.

This happens to me too. And I'm only 23. I'm always worried it has to do with too much mercury or lead or something in the environment.
DearS, funny that you say it is a byproduct of the emotionless, less-stressed-out mindset, because that's definitely where I am.

Well, everyone needs love to be happy.....and so I'm here being loving to myself (not masturbating). I do believe I'm getting happier, although I still have lots of empty places inside my heart. but I'm glad I'm not dening them. well less of them.
anyhow...this is where I started, if your ever looking for help emotionally, I trust this quite a bit, suggest and recommend it for "Every" person alive........

Yes. Or when changing your shoes; you take them off and calmly proceed to put the same pair back on.

Sure, that's like when you're looking for a tool and you're holding it, or you're looking for your sunglasses for 5 minutes and they're on top of your head.
minitruck_freq: I'm confiscating your beer.

This reminds me of a episode with my uncle; He and my aunt had bought a cabin near the sea, and were building some extra rooms to convert it to a house. In the middle of everything, during a intensive period of the building process, my uncle gets a sudden urge to take a leak. Hurrying towards the bathroom, he finds himself in the middle of a "brain blackout". Not remembering what he was doing or where he were going, he sets off to find his hammer witch he had misplaced earlier that day... :D
Yup... Thats my family... :p
