While im collecting funds to finish my line array Id like a set of nice bookshelves (ill be using them as computer speakers) to hold me off till I get them finished.

I just got a pair of Seas Excel W18E001s in a trade (man these are pretty) and the Seas 27TDFC (should I look at any other tweeters? remember these are just to hold me off till my line arrays are completed) are quite inexpensive and would be a worthy investment to hold me off. Would a T-amp work to power them for low level listening, or should I invest in a Crown XLS-202D?

I plan on using most of the existing equipment I have planned for the line arrays, which include the DCX2496 for crossovers and the XLS-202B for the W18E001s.

Also, I was considering buying a tiny sonotube (probably like 8-10" sonotube) and then cutting 2 slits down the side and inserting a piece of MDF to use as the baffle. From the top the sonotube would look like a C, without the baffle in place.

I dont have plans on building a subwoofer for the computer (but it may happen in the future with a Dayton RS15 and a plate amp or something along those lines), as these bookshelves would probably suffice for low level listening. Should I port them or seal them, and if I ported them how low should I port them?
