Thought some people might be interested but I just got this link:

$350 for 1300w RMS at 4 ohms? Seems like a pretty hot deal to me considering 1000w Dayton is $330 on special. Smaller versions available as well.

However I cannot speak to the quality, and I am sure that ED is farming this design from somewhere else. I will be firing up my 1000w Dayton this evening.

If you check their eBay items they are selling off the Bash amps that they bought to copy.

I don't think they copied anything. It appears their amps are from the same source as Madisound's house plate amps, Keiga.

One thing the Dayton amps have that this one does not appear to (from a skimming of their website) is any kind of EQ. The Dayton's is pretty rudimentary, but useful for flattening the response of sealed systems with relatively high F3's and excursion to spare.

Lots do it.

Look at Behringer Euro Power/QSC RMX, or the Behringer/Mackie battle.

Do you think D/C makes the ONLY hemispherical engine?

But hey? What's the eBay addy, I'll grab one of the bash amps :)

I guess I did kind of jump to that conclusion without proof, but the comment on this page made me think it.

I don't even think they make a true hemispherical engine at all. Not anymore.

On AVS someone purportedly from this company says they used to use the BASH amps on their production subs.

More interestingly, apparently there's a 15% coupon code: introspecial.

i'm trying to pick up one of the bash500's for a 16kv2 that's going to do sub duty. they used to use the bash amps in their ht subs, but the new ones don't resemble the bashs at all.

Ya, tell me about it,...i'm broke enough as it is...
it didn't help either when a set of forged pistons and rods for my accord (F22a motor), came on ebay for $200US!!! considering it's a rarely modified motor and that rod/piston set usually is new at around $900...but when you have 0 money, nothing is a good deal.
