I wonder if we're witnessing the last throes of TC Sounds. Every week seems to bring new and substantial price reductions on a number of their products, and that's not a normal way for a business to operate. Unless it needs cash in a hurry more than it needs profits...

I guess the fact that it is now $219 (with free shipping) means that, uh, something. wtfk.

Definitely means I don't need one...

Given that the last time TC ran into financial difficulties they sold (and failed to support) an awful lot of bad (as in unreliable or out of spec, I think the drivers they sold at the time were unmusical boom machines, but that does not enter into this particular discussion) drivers to John Janowitz (Stryke Audio at the time) and basically bankrupted him, I'm not convinced that even at a fire-sale price they're an especially good deal right now...

I talked to Kyle the other day, he said the reason they're so cheap now is they may not be permanently in their lineup. They're a steal at that price, and you can get a pair for $300.

Apparently, the price reduction ended already.

I just need to jump on the good deal nxt time. I was close to ordering a TC-3000, when they were $245...went up the nxt day. After talking to Kyle, I was considering a pair of TC-9s...but I'll have to wait. To many good subs around that price range. Its gonna be hard to get rid of my XXX.

I just read that they're offering free shipping on everything, the price you see is what you pay. Doesn't make up for the $50+ increase though.
