Boston Acoustics GT-28

Product Brand & Model:
Boston Acoustics GT-28 two channel full range amp

Condition of all items:
very good used

Total Price: :
$200

Shipping Terms: :
you pay -- usps or fedex ground (which is my preference)

Reason for Selling:
This amp is HUGE. Sounds great but it's very cramped in my space. Additionally, my wimpy charging system can't keep up with it so I went with an ARC KS300.2, which is a touch more efficient and a LOT smaller.

Pictures: - Posting a picture of the exact time for sale is mandatory
(Unless your last 5 iTrader feedbacks on this forum are positive, you must include at least one pic with a slip of paper showing your DIYMA user name & the date you posted the classified thread WITH THE ITEM FOR SALE.)

I so want, but funds are tight. You looking for any trades/partial trades? Subs (several kinds all nib), Alpine F1 comp set, I got some GT-24's but seems like your good on amps. I got the bigger 4-ch and this would match the length for a uniform install.

Re: Boston Acoustics GT-28

dude I'm soooooo good on parts right now. Trying to pare down the collection, really. Would definitely trade for a JL xd 500/3 (with some $$ from me), but doubt you've got one of them laying around! Ha ha, sorta funny thinking about THAT trade from biggest amp to smallest.

One thing to point out about this amp... it's not one of the recent slew of BA refurbs, and it was made in Italy, not indonesia or malasia or whereever they moved production. It's definitely one of the "good" ones.

Re: Boston Acoustics GT-28

SOME BACKGROUND: I acquired this amp from ben lizardo at Acme Tops and Tunes in Sacto. He had a customer with a full complement of BA Amps who decided to go another direction. I picked it up from Ben over the winter, and installed it in my boat to run my tower speakers. I've put 2 hours on the boat since then, one of them running on the hose in front of the house. So it's got very little playtime from me. It sounds really good, but my alternator just can't keep up, and that's very important to me on the water.

Crappy phone pics! Dual power inputs. This amp will pull some current. Is your charging system up to the challenge?

It's Monday and I'd like to get this sold. To make this easy, I'm willing to do $200 shipped west of the Mississippi or $210 shipped east of the Mississippi.

I'm quite lazy and want this sold. I may be prone to take the first reasonable offer to come my way. Cash money talks.
