Additional info:
I bought these directly from Morel about a year and a half ago. They are brand new, have never seen power, been mounted, or even been more than a foot or two from the case ever. No scratches, no blems, they are nothing shy of perfect. I even still have the shipping box that they were sent to me in directly from Morel. I'm sad to see them go, and they are certainly the sickest looking set of speakers I've ever laid eyes on. Nevertheless, I must set them free. We signed on for Focal this year and since we'll already have a vehicle with Morel in it at the store, and Hertz/Audison is also covered, I'm going to have the car with Focal in it.

I'll take some really nice pictures later. We had a little boy yesterday so things are a little busy!!!

This is one of the best shops in the U.S.- no kidding! This shop did me up some great systems when I lived in the DFW. Serious SQ AND SPL

installs for the 17 or so years I've known of them.
Figures you could stock Audison, Hertz, Morel, AND Focal!

I've seen MacIntosh, Diamond Audio, MB Quart, Rockford, PPI, Eclipse(of course), Alpine, Clarion, whatever was or is cutting edge, they seem to stay on top of it. Impressive... Btw, is Barry still around?

Hey, I wrote you back! As far as the three way set, the mid in that set is actually just CDM 88 with the different color on it and the upgraded crossover

parts. So, if you are planning on running active, all you need is a pair of CDM 88 and you're good!! The tweeter is an MT 24 (according to them a big upgrade from the MT 23) and the mid bass closest relative is what they use in the $30k+ Fat Lady home tower (but optimized for the car environment).

Hey thanks man!! For the congrats and the positive words about the shop. We try really hard to be the best at not only providing top notch product and installation, but customer service. You hit the nail on the head with all of those brands by the way!!! It's cool to know that someone notices. And yes, Barry is still around. Crazy old bastard comes in to get razzed by us for a couple of hours on Tuesdays and Saturdays. He leaves when he can't take it anymore!!! Thanks again for the kind words.

The truth doesn't ALWAYS have to hurt

. There's a reason all those high end sales reps always put up with a shop handling their competition (I think half of them used to work there), and of course, the World Champions and Finalists that were in and out of the place were there for a reason.

So, Barry still thinks he runs the place? J/k Please tell him Terry w the Supra Turbos (among others you've done) said hello. Still got the Blue one.
Those Elates are super nice btw. Those suckers would look right @ home in the cockpit an alien space-craft. Shame to put em in anything that costs under 100k!

Seriously, I can't believe these are still available. If I hadn't given up on the system in my truck, I would think about upgrading.

I used to own a set of Morel System 9, 2-way with that same tweeter. Ran one PDX-4.150 and it was hella loud....door guys would walk out to the parking lot to ask me to turn it down.

Bump for great guy and great shop. Congrats on the new addition to the family.
