Additional info:

These are awesome speakers!! They get loud and sound really good doing it.
I was using an Eclipse XA4000 amp with them, with 125 watts RMS per channel. They handled it great.
These are Massive Audio's top of the line speaker for sound quality.
These are very slightly used. I put them in my truck to test them for a few days and that's it.
I'm selling them because I need the money, not because I want to

I'm not sure. I know they upgraded the tweeters, though. The crossovers are very nice. I thought about keeping them.

I just verified that they did indeed upgrade the crossovers.

And, the mid bass are a little bit better. They are still carbon fiber, but they are rated at 200 watts RMS and are 90db sensitivity, rather than 130 and 89.9db on the CK 6 V. They also added a removable phase plug so you can mount the tweeter directly in the center, or use the side mount as before.

From their website:

CKX represents the care to detail and due diligence in listening to what consumers were saying about CK Classic, while still making the Carbon Fiber CKX a relatively inexpensive component kit that rival others costing many times more. The CKX has upgraded the crossover module “18 dB Phase Coherent Linkwitz-Riley Crossover Network ” that allows for precise tuning. Another unique design element of these components is an interchangeable phase plug that allows the tweeter to be screwed directly to the midrange converting the CKX to a co-axial system for even more installation flexibility. All this makes CKX one of the richest sounding, high powered mid-range speakers on the market. More power & improved features… Now that’s Massive!

Ive always wondered about the T/S parameters on the CK mids. Has anyone ever found any or tested some? Some say they make mean mid bass in IB.

I don't have any scientific data, but based on my comparisons to eclipse, infinity and pioneer, these speakers handle more power with more finesse. I ran a bridged eclipse xa4000 to these, at 350 wrms and they handled it great. Like I said, I'm not selling them because I want to.
