Default Clarion DRZ9255 and EA1251B iPod control. Pics.

Selling my beloved DRZ, I've decided to simplify my setup for a while and free up some money for some other projects.

This works perfectly, it sounds amazing, no issues whatsoever.

All original accessories are included: DIN mounting cage, trim ring, DC/DC convertor, wire harnesses, owner's manual, remote control, and original box with matching serial number. The ipod adapter isn't shown in the pictures but it's only a couple months old (bought from Crutchfield) and it's also in excellent condition.
Everything will be packaged securely for shipping, and insured for the sale price.

$695 shipped in the Continental US. PayPal is fine- If you'd like to help out with their fees then cool, but I'm not allowed to require that so I'll offer to eat their fees.

The only things I can think of that I'd consider as partial trade are:
Clarion DXZ785USB head unit.
Image Dynamics mini horn bodies.
Maybe a pair of jl slash amps- either 300/4s, 300/2s, or one of each.
Mossberg 930 SPX if you're reasonably local.

Thanks DIYMA!
-Cory.

Darn good price on this with the ipod adapter. The demand for these decks just keeps getting stronger and I'll bet this one doesn't stay around very long.

Grrr....

I'm really toying with going back this way but I just have too much on my plate right now to start another item installation when I haven't completed installing the last stuff I changed too lol. Wonderful head unit that does a lot in a small package - and does it well.

I will say that i have been using alpine for as long as i can remember, i just sold my W205/h701 combo and installed a clarion drz9255 yesterday.

OMG!- the piano on the drz sounds amazingly musical and notes sound sharper than my alpine.
Definitely a better quality of sound from the clarion.
The ONLY peeve i have so far with the clarion is the meun interfacing , its goign to take some time to get used to.

But Clarion Drz- where have you been all my life!

Awsome deck. Remarkable sound. Staging articulates beautifully when jumping from 48khz to 96khz sampling.

Whomever buys will NEVER regret owning REAL SQ deck

Good luck on sale.

This, unforunately, is not true. I have had two that play them with no issues and one that would not. No one, to my knowledge, has ever been able to explain why some will play burned discs and some will not. If the OP says it will play them, then it will.

So you owned 3 different drz9255's ? It says right in the owners manual that the unit lays cdr's.

Yes mine plays CDR's, it really comes down the dye they use on the bottom of the CDR's, best bet is to record a disc @1x or 2X if you have problems with the cd playing in any HU.

I have no idea why some would and some would not, this is an early one (serial number is in the teens!) and it has no problems whatsoever with burned discs. It also displays title/track/artist info from them just fine.

Yes three. Toyota also told me my SUV would get 21 MPG highway and it gets 16. As DAT said above, it probably has more to do with the actual CD's themselves. Robb, from your previous posts concerning the 7909 and 9255 I will disregard most of what you say. Bump for a great head unit.

I'll consider splitting up the package if someone wants just the DRZ9255 and isn't interested in the EA1251B, as I have someone expressing interest in just the iPod adapter.
I've gotten a handful of trade offers, please keep in mind I'm not looking to give much more in trade credit for something than what I can buy it for here or on eBay.

DRZ9255 is SOLD.

The EA1251B iPod adapter is still available if anyone wants it. It retails for $149.99, the cheapest I could find one with a quick search online is $99 shipped, how about $70 shipped in the CONUS?

Thanks!
