Default FS Thread: Phoenix Gold, Orion, AVI, DEI, Sound Quest, +++

Updated for sale thread.

Lots of stuff here! A random clean out of extras I have. All of it is good, clean, and fully functional.

FREE Shipping!

1. Phoenix Gold M50. 2x25WRMS LOL!!! Works great! Video link on request. $200

2. Phoenix Gold ZX450. 4x75, great for an active setup or front stage + a sub. Very nice condition. Video of it in action on request. $225

3. Phoenix Gold RSD 6.5 mid bass component speakers, pair. Brand new and never installed. $60

4. DEI silk tweeter set BNIB with mounting accessories and crossovers. Old school, these are probably rebranded orion or ppi stuff. I paid $119 10 years ago. Model 2013 25mm tweeters. $60

5. Audio Control 2XS crossover white. Made in USA! 33Hz subsonic and I think 90Hz low/high pass. $40

6. Orion 10" XTR subwoofer. Lightly used - not even broken in, still very very tight suspension. 4 Ohm SVC 500 watts. I think made in USA. I purchased new around 2000. $60

7. Cadence component set ZXC6KS BNIB minus the mids. The silk tweeters actually were much much better than I expected!... I needed the slim mids for a shallow door install, all the rest is BNIB. The crossovers are 12dB slope, not sure at what point. $40

8. (2) Stinger BNIB gold MAXI inline fuse holder 4 or 8 gauge. PN: SPD8601. Good quality, not el cheapo install gear. $15 each

9. Sound Quest 17' RCA cable. Brand new never used, but no box. Red and white/clear in color. $10

10. Sound Quest 0 gauge power / ground wire red / black connector covers. I do not know what to call these! Install accessories for covering terminal connectors. 4 red and 2 black. Brand new but no box. $2.50

11. Sound Quest ANL fuse holder with 150A fuse. Brand new but no box. 5/16 pole connectors used so is a universal fuse holder for 8-0 awg wire. $12.50

12. Sound Quest top mount battery connector gold. Brand new but no box. $7.50

13. AVI 5.25 mids, MX-130. I purchased these new in '93 and lightly used them for 2 years. Sitting on my shelf dang near forever. Minty! Insane magnets! Insane SQ! AVI is the best kept secret from Canada. Handmade goodness. The same speaker is still made from AVI if you need more of complementary products. Better than McIntoshs I did a head to head with. Steal them for $125!

I am not good with picture posting. Just shoot me a PM with your normal e-mail address and I can shoot pictures to you.

Some of these prices are a shot in the dark, but I tried to price everything very reasonably. And remember these are shipped prices.

48 states only for free shipping, but I am willing to send these anywhere. USPS Priority (no UPS Brahma killers here)! PayPal only. I ship fast and pack well. References on request. Guaranteed no DOA goods! Most of this stuff is brand new or pretty minty used! Buy with confidence, no sketchy BS here.

Wanted or trades:
- Adire Audio Brahmas! 12 or 15 MK1 or MK2 (no RU MK4 wannabees)
- AVI 6.5" mid bass component speakers

Thanks for looking!!!

Just no laughing at the narrator

The published M50 specs from PG:
Into 4 ohms @ 12.5/14.4 VDC 50/85 WRMS x 2
Into 2 ohms @ 14.4 VDC 120 WRMS x 2
Bridged into 4 ohms @ 14.4 VDC 245 WRMS x 1

Considering PG published the total dynamic power of the M100 at 1001 watts, I imagine the M50 would be around 500 watts dynamic power.

Thanks!

Examples in point? The last ZX450 that was comparable sold for 250 + ship. The last comparable M50 235 + ship. Dirty old PG amps do not have much of a market - Collector grade or trash/parts. A few weeks ago a M100 went for 400 + ship basically NIB.

My theory is because the amps are broken and dirt bag sellers! I have 3 PG ZX amps off of e-bay that are broken. Of course they claimed that they worked when removed... BS after benching them.

Granted I saw a POS ZX500 go for 200 last week on the bay... I suspect insider bidding. Because it was not that nice at all.

... Did you want to talk ZX or M? This is one area where I keep a constant eye on the market.

im not bashing you maybe i havent been tracking them , if i can't get my alpine F1 fixed i will be getting the ZX most likely, some of the best PG built, i just seen them go for cheap a few months ago one ever went for 120 bucks and that was a great deal i was upset i didnt get my hands on, in my opinion its worth every penny, in any case i might be hitting you up if you cant sell them

Just hit me on a PM when you are ready. The ZX450 is long gone. But I should have 2 - ZX350s and 1 - ZX500 coming up eventually... If you do not mind repaired. They will be a good deal though and have videos of them in action and a no DOA guarantee. Well you get what I am saying

Take Care!
