When creating the mold of the trunk I'm used to doing matt and then fiberglass over. What about using fleece or something and spray adhesive to get it to stick and then glass over that to get the mold? In the new install it's a very small opening and I'm just worried I'll get some bubbles in there.

the resin will release the adheasive, and your fleece will pull up.

^agreed.
Just mask the area off very well, brush on some resin and continue with layers of chopped matt/resin until you get the desired thickness/strength. |
