You could put that in those 10" openings in the G35 doors. Sweet.

I just noticed they are on sale with free shipping. Looks like they undercut the eD version.

While on the topic of eD's version of who made what first, here's a 3'rd party's story:

Even put the logo on it as shown on their website!

They sent him the proto, and he asked for exclusivity of the design. TB - as all build houses would do - said sure if you can guarantee a minimum sales quantity per year, or pay for the tooling (basket, motor, diaphragm, spider spacer). When Ben refused to do either, they said OK, it will be open but we'll build it for you.

Then Ben - the classy guy he is - took that prototype driver to another build house and had it knocked off. And is selling those. Of course, the design is patent-pending by Tangband, including the way the diaphragm is done (it's not a standard flat diaphragm, it's really quite ingenious!), and many other parts. Once those patents issue, they'll be hell to pay, TB is NOT happy...

Other than that, the TB people are great, had a great time - as always - visiting with the crew, and the new plant is filling up quickly!

Guess I should of clarified a bit better, Im disappointed how Mr. Wiggins hasnt upheld the once great customer service of Adire. Hence me agreeing with bassfromspace saying its quite sad about Dan.

On a side note, Ben Milne will NEVER, and I mean NEVER get my money for any of his products.

I always thought eD's stuff looked a bit too similar to other gear, and this is a good example of why I always felt that company was a bit shady. Now I know it's true and that my original feeling was justified.

BobD, from the 10's I've seen in door (Mark Levinson 10's from a lexus system) if you go IB the midbass-subbass is surprising. Now, these subs have a Q over 1 (I think 1.2) so they're really willing to throw-down 30-40hz(close to fs) without EQ. I just remember on rap, when the bass started falling it kept getting louder and louder. Pretty sweet system for a Geo Metro with no other subs.

Nor was that word unbiased ever mentioned by me. That word should not even be mentioned, if we are considering all of those that have supported Ben's side and made mention of his story as fact is fair play. Agreed?

glad I didnt get a pair. According to that link that MIAaron posted, it says the driver does not do well above 150Hz. since I wanted to use them as a midbass driver up to about 350Hz, i would have been in some serious trouble. Thanks for the info!
