Default Dynaudio & Cadence CVL-6k

These look very similiar. Does anyone if there is a connection between the Cadence drivers and the Dynaudio ones.

It is possible, but it's more likely one of the Chinese baskets being used. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it just seems that Cadence' pricing doesn't allow for Dynaudio as an OEM. That's a sweet looking driver, too.

Prob same build house/supplier pumping out the Dynaudio fakes from the far east. Last I remember Cadence was based out of India, not sure if its still the same situation.

Cadence is based out of Howell, NJ. The India Cadence company is a home audio company..

I remember a few years ago looking at the site when the Z series and colored shoud amps where available, the website showing contacts in India...perhaps I'm mistaken. Has the company gone under new ownership, or have they always been based out of the US?

Steve and Jake are the owners since the birth of Cadence. They have been in the same location since day one. It might of been a distributor in India that was listed as a contact on the website. There is a Cadence in India but they have nothing to do with Cadence USA..

They are very accurate, the mids do have a really nice natural kick to them and the tweets are not harsh like most kits. Most guys take the crossover and throw it away and run them bi-amped to get the best SQ. A few of the guys on the Cadence forum have won first place in SQ comps and beat out the Focal, MB quart and Polk competitors.
