Default speaker configuration and location help.

I was hoping for a little input on speaker location and configuration. I recently purchased an older 2 door single cab dodge truck and its stock speaker locations are in the doors and about 6 inches behind and below the headrest on each side of the cab.
I have two sets of polk SR series speakers, one set is the SR6500's and the other set is the SR5250's, I also have another set of the 6500 woofers. I also have a SR124DVC 12 inch sub, a PA500.4 amp, a PA1200.1 amp and a jl audio 300.4 amp.
I am in the market for a nice SQ Head Unit because the truck only has a cheap pioneer in it right now.
My goal is to eventually run everything active but for now I was thinking that I would run the SR6500's off the PA 500.4 bi-amped and the SR5250's bi-amped off the JL 300.4. does anyone think the two amps will produce conflicting sounds characteristics?
I was originally planning on putting one 6500 woofer and one 5250 woofer in the doors and the two tweeters up higher, maybe at the bottom of the A-pillar but when I took off the door panel there is water and dirt marks on the current speakers in the doors so I'm hesitant to put the SR's in there.
Now I'm debating building some kicks for the 5250 woofer and tweeter and putting the 6500 woofer behind the headrest in the factory location and the 6500 tweeter either down in the kick as well or in the A-pillar. would having the 6500 woofer behind me and the tweeter in front of me cause problems with sound stage, TA etc?
Ultimately what would be the best use of the two sets of speakers plus the extra 6500 woofers and the two 4 channel amps as far as wiring configuration, location etc? could I wire the two or three woofers up together using the PA500.2 bridged into two channels (250x2) and then use the 4 channels of the JL 300.4 for the two sets of tweeters or bridge that into two channels as well and wire the tweeters together?
thanks in advance,
IrishChamp

WTB/WTT/PS. just on a side note, if anyone has a set of Herts MLK 165's they would be willing to trade for some polk SR speakers and or some cash let me know. I really enjoy these polk SR's but I've been jonesing to try those out !
Also, I need a nice SQ head unit.

Personally, I'd use just one set of components and the sub and use the Polk amps.

I wouldn't worry at all about using any combination of amps though.

Just because you have all those speakers doesn't mean you need to use them, in fact it'd probably sound worse if you did.

you think even if I placed two sets of the sr's together so the sound stage would be accurate it would not sound as good as one set? why is that, wouldn't I get more midbass from two sets as well as more sound with less effort? also, I know that the 6500's have some weaknesses that the 5250's do not have and vise versa so wouldn't they fill in where the other is lacking?
thanks for your input!

I might be misreading your post. My apologies if so.

I think it's risky business to place your midrange that high and wide, although not impossible. What kind of space do you have in the a-pillars? If you could fit a small guy there, like a widebander or coaxial, you could probably then just use the lower doors for midbass. If not, you could try the same thing in kick panels.

BTW - water in doors canusually be dealt with. You should be able to find it in here on a search.

But ya can't stop the power of the bass in ya eye

Not much room in the A pillar. I'll do some research on water in doors. If that turns out to be an easy fix I think I'll do the mids in the doors and the highs in the kicks or A pillars. I think that will be easier than building a full kick for mids and tweets. Do you think that if I install both sets of speakers with mids down low and together and tweets forward and on axis two sets of speakers will be an improvement over one set?

I've started my installation, sr6500 and sr5250 woofers in the doors, I think I've solved the water issues. I'm making a small awning/rain gutter/splash guard for each side.

still not completely decided on tweeter location, I'm thinking the kicks but I really don't want to break out the fiberglass.
we shall see.

I'll post a WTT thread once I hit 50 posts but for now I'll put it here.
it looks as though my beautiful sr124DVC sub will not fit behind my seats so I'm looking to trade for something that has a shallower mounting depth.
anyone think an IDQ12 would hold up to the sr124?? I was running 800rms watts to the sr124, dont think the IDQ will take that much so I'm thinking two 10's wired at 2 ohms receiving 400 rms watts each.
anyone have any experience with these two setups and how the two IDQ's willl compare to my sr124?
