That is a huge motor! What's the driver displacement? Xmax?

Xmax = the 12" model @ close to 19mm one-way by 70% BL in FEA.

Displacement is roughly 0.12 cubes

No. I have done LOTS on the SA-12s and a little on the SA-15 prototype. This driver is the same but with a 10" cone and basket -- so you can use that as a reference.

Box suggestions :

VENTED :

1.25 - 1.5 cubic feet tuned to 30 - 35 Hz
Yields F3 in the mid to high 20s

SEALED :

0.55 cubes for 0.707 Qtc alignment
Yields F3 of 50 Hz -- this works great in-car for a flat response after transfer function
You can use a bit smaller or larger if you like
