Garbage can

My doors are built to hold a 5.25" speaker per side, *some* 6.5" speakers fit with slight modifications... I'm gonna put 2 8" drivers in each door, and they aren't from the shallow kind: Peerless SLS 8", no way I'm gonna let those breath trough a grille that already rattles with a better than stock 5.25" speakers powered by a better than stock headunit...

Car-audio history since 2004:
- 2000 Renault Clio: cancelled... - 1992 Volvo 940: cancelled...
- 1990 Saab 900: cancelled....... - 1994 Citroën Jumper: cancelled...
- 1989 Volvo 740: cancelled...... - 1993 Saab 900: cancelled...
I really should start building faster than the car breaks down!

I actually saved my door grills. I removed my speakers, and tried to put it back to stock since I'm selling the car. the grills are laughing reminders that I have hideous gaps in my doors. Even if you kept the grills I doubt they'd do much good once you cut into your door. I'm going to have some covers fabricated to close up the holes.

I'll have some 8" diameter grills in Dodge Slate-Grey in a few weeks. Although, this is a mixture of grey and tan.
