Is a Malaysia brand anyway.... Quality I would say is on par with made in CHina... The main difference is, Caliber sponsor some audio competetions....

I messed with alot of Caliber while I was in Germany, really entry level stuff, comparable to Pioneer amps.

2013 GMC Sierra

Pioneer DEH-80PRS > Soundstream Picasso Nano 4.520D and 1.650D > Vifa XT25's > Focal Woofers > Audioque HDC2.0

40wrms x 4 @ 4ohm.

I was under the impression they are/were a Dutch company, though looking at their, poor, site Kyheng is probably right on the money.

That amp wasn't too bad IIRC we fitted a few of that series back in the late 90s, they did some interesting speakers too (point source coaxes) but had so many ranges within their brand they always seemed a bit of a missmatch.

I think the original company was good. Rather like Soundstream etc , who would buy their stuff now ? !!

It looks like this range receives good reviews some years ago .
I will fit it !

but i think its 4 x80rms?

They always were a bit "here and there" with their ranges, should have concentrated the same amount of effort into a smaller range for better results.

lol-I actually sell some Soundstream components, for the money they can't be beat-I probably sell more of that one set than all the other speakers I sell combined!

Can't find much on it, but:
Caliber amplifier - General Car Audio - Talk Audio

says 40wrms x4 as do the German sites I'm reading on too.

I can only speak for Caliber from the Netherlands.

In the 90s, they had some pretty good quality amplifiers, made by Chung Lam in Korea. Later, they focused more on mass merchants and so price points and quality went down.

These are the white series amps. I remember when they came out and people said how good they are for the money and not a bad SQ amp. I know it sounds a lot better than a cheap "Genesis " amp i had last year ,Those are not as good as the originals !

But...I am sure these are 4 x 80 watts RMS they always quoted RMS in the model names etc ?? Also they "pinch" a lot harder than quoted if i remember correctly !

I'll have that cheap "Genesis" amp off you

If they always quoted RMS in the model name then I'd 100% say it's 4x40wrms-look at the name!

Sold it on quickly

no way as good as the original stuff. In fact i would not recommend new Genesis amps at all.
i see the point about it saying CA 440 . so it could be a 4 x 40

but next to that it states 4 x 80 watts / And its a good size amp and well heavy !! I rather have a true 4 x 80+ watts amp to make sure they are driving the Morels well
