I was wondering if the design of my amplifier compartment will pose any major issues? I have tested it for 30 minutes at full volume and I had no issues. I plan to use a longer threaded rod so the amplifier isn't butting up against the carpet. Below is a picture of my amplifier compartment.

I am sort of brainstorming right now, so maybe you guys can comment. I was thinking, I may extend the threaded rods and remove the carpet from the inner portions of the compartment. So it will just be exposed mdf on the insides, and the outside will be carpeted.
Will carpet cause issue?
