Default 4 ch amp bridged to front stage, how to wire?

I have a Cadence TXA-3004 that I want to run bridged so that it has 2 channels to run my front speakers at 4 ohms. My question is how would the rca connection go? Would I simply run say the left rca off the headunit to channel 1's input on the amp, and then the right RCA to channel 3? That would leave no connection to the amp's RCA ch 2 and 4 inputs. Is that a problem? Would I need to do something like use 2 RCA splitters to have all of the amp's inputs connected? Or am I all wrong?

Thanks!

Most amplifiers require a Y splitter to do this. Usually each channel splits and plugs into channel 1 and 2 inputs, and so on.

Your amp has an "input mode" switch. 2nd switch in on the left. Switch it from 4ch to 2 ch. Make it look just like this pic.

So that switch in 4ch position allows me to run one set of RCA's to channels 1 and 2, and it transfers the signal to 3 and 4. But if I bridge, am I not going to get a mono signal on both front speakers then instead of stereo?

I thought to keep a stereo output after bridging I would need to split the rca inputs on the amp and I guess use y splitters like Zakoh said.

Opps missed that you want to run it to mids and it is even i the title doh. Yes for your situation you will want to y the rca's into the amp. Run a y off of your left rca and connect it to ch 1 & 3 an then the right to ch 2 & 4.
