Default SQ setup

I'm looking to Build a system that would give me great sounding, somewhat loud bass without needed to do any time of electric upgrades to my car. With that being said I guess I would be looking towards more of a SQ Set up the SPL. I would like to Build a system around a good set of component speakers. I'm currently looking at a set of Focal performance ps165 . These are 80 watts rms.

As for the sub I'm looking for recommendations a 1 12 or 15inch set up .

What vehicle do you have? Does it have a premium sound system? Is it all factory original or have you done any audio upgrades? Do you want to keep the head unit? Are you planning to do the installation?

My system: Clarion CX305, Massive Audio Core-1, Cerwin Vega V600.4, CV B2, CV V1500.1D, CDT ES-6CW, CDT ES1200iS, CV V465 rear fill, CV VPRO124D 2.0 cubes @ 36 Hz

It's a 2007 impala, it has the stock audio system (not premium) .
As of now I'm going to use a pioneer fh-p8000bt head unit. I may change this at a later date for a dvd player. I'm going to have this installed at an audio shop.

I was thinking of running 1 IDQ 12, but I was wondering with the sub taking 750 watts rms max would that require me to do the big 3 ?

If you're looking for SQ and efficiency and don't want to have to do the big three IB is perfect for this. 500 watts and dual 15" speakers will easily get you output and the IB setup will let you get the SQ you want without needing tons of power. Cheap Pyle 15" subs tend to work very well in this application. With IB surface area is what counts most. And from looking online you can fit 2x15" IB in the Impala without losing much room, if necessary you can reduce it to 2x12" subs.

Pyle PLBW154 15" Dual 4 Ohm Blue Wave Series Car Subwoofer

These subs have just about the perfect IB Qts of .700, ideally it's .707, but that's nearly perfect already. Two of those IB and only 500 watts with a class D amplifier will get you real SQ great output and will still be easy on the electrical system.
