It's only 99% copper (OFC is 99.9%), but I just bought 40 feet of 2 gauge for $52 shipped here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JMNMM8S

It's not as pretty a red, and it doesn't have that limp-noodle flexibility of wire made for car audio I've bought in the past, but it's flexible enough for me considering the price difference.

Welding cable works great, proper size, not over size and no issues dealing with insulation being so thick that is hard to run and fit in some areas. Less thick strands is also better, it holds better with set screws, it stays together for multiple disconnections not needing ferrules to protect the wire.

while I love good welding cable, link in original post is a hell of a deal if true.

Cable marked 99.9% copper but who really knows....

It seems like most people don't care to actually understand reality.

You never know with some venders. 20' of Kolossus Fleks Kable 1/0 would cost you $20 (25%) more, but you know you'll have a quality cable.

I have bought the Temco wire off of Ebay in 6, 4, 1/0, 2/0 and 4/0. I have been very happy with the wire quality. It smells kinda weird and I would suggest using some sort of techflex or snakeskin to dress it up.

The stuff is flexible enough but nothing like stinger. So run it into whatever for distro then use stinger or your favorite from there.
