Now you know why I'm kicking myself for forgetting to snipe the auction where a 560 sold for $119.

Well....that's better than the $1399 he was asking for it ....LOL

Though I'm not sure how he arrived at calling it a 4kw amplifier.....it's rated 250w x 4 @ 4ohm, or 600w x 2 bridged @ 4ohm.

I did.

It said they used 5x more output devices than they needed to for the rated power.

They say nothing about the amplifier actually being able to supply that much power output. Though they do mention several times that rated power is 250w x 4 and 600w x 2.

The manual says it can draw "continuously 144 amps with dynamic peaks of 240 amps" on page 13 of the .pdf. I would say it is capable of putting out some power. Can anyone say old school cheater amp?? It should be fun trying to supply enough power to this thing. My MC4000M can draw 140 amps and I know how much of a power hog that thing is.

This guy could probably tell you what these amps can do. He says he owns 5 of them.

Continuous draw of 144A on 14.4V @ 65% efficiency [reasonable guess for a class A/B] puts it just under 1350w of continuous [RMS] output.....just a tad over rated power
