Never had the hertz.They do sound a lot like my diamond hex set with silk tweets.The ppi's have more bottom end then do the diamond's

ya, my hertz tweeters i don't feel are harsh, but they do get LOUD lol. i have 175 rms going thru the crossover and they aren't biampable. soooo, i was going to do that quasi active setup with maybe a 50x2 rms amp. mb quart has one for 139 on woofersetc that i think would be great for them. if you hook them up that way soon let me know how it sounds. how are your mids without a high frequency cutoff?
