You have to check the Pioneer website. Nope, I never upgrade mine. But it is not advisable to upgrade the components as it may cause unknown premature damages.

I ALREADY TRIED. THE RIGHT SIDE IS LOSEN UP BUT THE LEFT SIDE JUST CANT. THEN SUDENLY THE FACE PLATE IS SLIDING BACK INTO POSITION. WHERE THE SCREW HAVE OR CAN BE PUT TO PREVENT THE REMOVING OF FACE PLATE.

I think the first owner put a screw to disable this. When ejecting CDs, try pull the faceplate.
