    Nick - correct me if Im wrong, but with tuning, the idea is to get the audio signals arriving all at the same corrected time and then, once we have achieved that (based on timing the IR arriving at the same time), we then can move on to the more simpler things like level matching, smoothing out the response curves of each driver, and overall EQ work.

    Part of the problem for me is that I don't have the luxury of working in a car audio installation shop where I am exposed to this stuff all day long. I don't get to see what works and what doesn't and what is a great sounding car and what isn't. I only really get to see what I have and what I read on DIYMA.

    Am I on the right track with the method of tuning?

    Oh my goodness. wow, been a LONG time. Im doin real good actually. Im alive, thats amazing in itself. My wife Gennelle and I have a 2 year old daughter, Sophia.
