Wow. Quite the portfolio man. Seriously. Compliments from Toronto. Been working on my own cars for about 15 years and just bought my first new car so I really want to do this one right. I'm looking at the 2010 Subaru build with the flip up amp rack cause I want access to the spare on my 2012 mazda 6.
If you've got a moment... When you bolted the sides down to the car, what did you use? Did you fasten with a nut on the underside? Any particular type of hinges to get?
Hello, I was wondering if you would take a look at my thread above and help me out. I guess I am looking for a speaker 6.5" w/ good sensitivity. I have read that the JBL amp generates about 40x6 watts per channel.
In the critical mass is a ripoff thread, the ampguts of the cm ula2500 wasnt showing up, I had to actually change the name of the picture for it to show up, I find that extremely strange because none of the other pictures have ever had a problem. Anyways I was wondering if you guys could either let me edit the original post to upload the same picture again, I reloaded the original picture again on page 12 so if you could add it to the original post where the red x is that would be cool thanks.
Hey, thanks for all your input on my thread. I really appreciate smart and responsive replies like yours. Since you've helped me so much, I was wondering if you wanted me to try and help you. Have you ever heard of wordpress? I visited your website, and it seemed slightly outdated. It (most likely) wouldn't be to hard to use wordpress to create a new interface for you to use to create a bit cleaner of a look for it. Message me back if you're at all interested, I started working on one for my car yesterday. It's really basic right now but it might give you an idea of what it COULD look like (there are thousands of "themes" that are free to use). FairLacyZ.tk
Hey this is random, but I was following your installs on most MkV VW's you did and I'm more than impressed great job !! I was wondering though, how you decided on the speaker positioning in those custom made pods. Is there a rule of thumb you have or just remembered from previous installs what sounded good and what didn't? I might be making something similar where I'd move mids to the front of the door, but need to know how to position them. Focal krx2 are the drivers in mind if that makes a difference.
