I hear ya about big trucks. Sound proofing goes a LONG ways even without a system in the vehicle. Some days I just turn everything off and enjoy the quiet on my long commute to work.

Just checking to see if you got my PM. I have been really busy and just saw the 4404 thread. I would donate some of my hearing to help you out if I could. Just one of those things you never want to see another enthusiast ever go through.

Just a FYI a very good friend of mine has very poor hearing, but he can still enjoy hi-fi. Remember, just because you can't hear certain frequencies doesn't mean you can't hear how they react with other frequencies and their harmonics. Dollars to dougnuts you will not only be able to enjoy high quality audio you will still know what it is supposed to sound like. They have really good treatments out now and medical science is only getting better. I wish you the best of luck! Let me know if I can help with anything.

Hi i just wonder have you send the case and the cage yet? Been messaging u these few days but havent got any reply yet. I install the HU and its great, but i really need the case bcoz I took the face off every night and i dont want it to be all scratchy. Please inform me if you want to send them or not, if not i can just buy it myself but right now i'm still waiting to hear from you.

I keep debating what to do with all of the Adcom amps. If I should fix the 2 5275's and sell them with the 5450 as a set or just sell them as is. Probably would depend on what I could get for them as is vs repaired so I could justify the decision. I know I can get at least $250 for the 5450. Would you have any interest in the 5275's knowing that they currently have noise issues and would need to be repaired?

Just depends on $$. I just bought a 4304 for $185 that works beautifully but is no beauty queen if u kno what I mean. From what Alachua(I think that was his screen name) told me the amps were coming from a friend who had them NiB but the guy owns a repair shop. I could b wrong but I was hesitant because he didn't have pics and his price as WAY high. If it's reasonable price, like $150-$175 range I can do something in a couple of weeks just not right now.
