Cool, thanks. I was looking for a 5 or 6 channel amp for my system. My setup is pretty simple for the most part. 2 sets of Blaupunkt VC660 and 2 8in IB woofers in the rear deck. I guess I could get by with the right 4channel amp.
The 6150D you have is crazy, I'd love to have it but about triple my budget.
I was checking out your MPA 4x70 or better yet MPA 4x150 but I didn't see any specs or prices there.
I'll post pics tomorrow and send you specs. There is going to be a 5 channel in the MPA series probably this summer.
We do not have a smaller version of this amp yet. The summer may hold a few smaller amplifiers as well as a MONSTER!!
I just noticed the new "MPA" series. The heading is misleading a little... Are these not built in USA? They don't seam to be, given the wording. if they aren't, will all the others stay US made??
You still have this on your home page: "We have NEVER imported any of our amplifiers or subwoofers from the Orient."
I don't have an issue with a good company making "cheaper" amps overseas, as long as they continue to make the "good" amps here!
I left SoundStream and went to US amps because they stopped making amps in the US; I left US Amps and went to Mmats for the same reason... I truly hope I never have to leave Mmats...

Yes, the new MPA series is a MMATS engineered and specd amplifier put together by an assembly house in PRC. ALL other MMATS amplifiers ARE and will CONTINUE to be made right here in our facility in West Palm Beach FL.
This was done STRICTLY to meet a price point for the consumer that cannot afford a US made MMATS amplifier, but still want a great product.

Roger!
Thanks!
I'll stick with the ones with the little American flag on the end of them,
I have always wanted to try the mmats. I was never able to get my hands on any. I still have love for the old school stuff, with the ugraded cap onthe outside to give it extra power. Glad to see you guys are still going strong.
I'd like to know the answer to this too. I like that you only need to buy one small, powerful, clean, amp to run a good system and make a great system (that's the idea, right?).

I emailed (5 days ago) MMATS about dealer inquiry and never got a response.
The crossover doesn't currently seem to support a fully active system very well. Any chance of future revisions inclinding something more along the lines of 60-500hz with an 'x10' switch to allow for use on tweeter/mid/midbass?
I'm pretty interested in this amp.

I ended up buying an Arc Audio KS900.6.
I believe you called me on my cell on friday while i was at SBN and I said I would follow up with you, and just went through all dealer inquiries and did not receive one from PA .
Thats a nice amp you bought, when you wanna step up to the next level let me know. You have my cell.

Yes sir I am the one that called you. Thank you for taking the time out of your personal time to speak with me. I have no idea why you did not recieve my request.
The 6150d looks like a very nice amplifier. After some thought I do not need 150w to my tweeters and midrange. Although I am looking forward to reading reviews.
I have not found an online pdf manual for this amp. Are there individual gain pots for all 6 channels?

Your very welcome and thank you for your interest. If you search back in this thread I have attached a copy of the owners manual for review. If you have anymore questions please let me know.

just wanted to drop a line about my experience with the new six channel......i run 3 sets of pro 651 in my demo truck for the shop(along with 8 P2.512's) i replaced two of the msq4100 for the one six ch and i can't believe how impressive this amp really is!!!!! great job dave on the design!!! also installed one last week in a 45' RV, six interior speakers, two exterior and a subwoofer...ONE AMP!!!! as always you guys never stop impressing me...keep up the great work and of coarse we at SOUNDWORKZ love the product!!!
Quick question/observation...
I was looking at the manual, and the pics in this thread, and the manual states that the amp has 8ga speaker terminals, but those plug in the pics certainly don't look capable of taking an 8ga wire. It's not like I would use 8ga at the power level, but I would like to know what size wire it can truly take (I typically use 10-12ga speaker wire).

The speaker inputs will handle 12g, I have used it myself. If the manual states that it was a typo, it will not handle 8g speaker wire.
