Default Kinetik For My Civic....

I have an 09 Civic Si and am having a hard time finding out if kinetik has a battery to fit me. I'm running a 200W kicker and a 1200W AQ for subs, so I was looking at the KHC1400. Will this fit? Do I need reverse terminals? Do I need to buy any kind of terminal adapters? Anything else?

Look at Kinetics homepage. They have the dimensions of all the models posted there. Here's the 1400, Kinetik High Current Power Cells

The HC1400 seems like the right one as far as power goes, but the dimensions are just tad bit over my measurements. How can I make it fit?

I see you posted on 8th too, so I'll link this thread where Vtec has an 1800 in his Civic.

I have an 08 Civic EX with a HC1400 in it, it was an easy fit for me. The tie-downs will need to be adjusted to allow for the slightly taller battery,
but I didn't even need to replace them, just loosened the tie-down bolts.

From a size comparison standpoint, I just put an XS Power D3400 in mine. I bent out the j-hook tabs and had to buy another tie down strap, but otherwise, it dropped right in.

Does the HC1400 sound about right for my needs or should I be going for something more? I'm trying to keep from having to upgrade my alternator since it's only 1year old.

Did you get the 1400R for reverse terminals? What are you running amp wise and did the HC1400 fix problems?

I would get the HC1800 over the hc1400 if you can get the 1800 to fit nice.
