won and paid for deck 7th of August. I asked the moron to pack it well and use a flate rate box to help us both.

finally got it today and this is what I got. I really want to slam the douche. No communication, took a long time shipping and did so pathetically.

Leave him bad feedback. He earned it for that craptastic packaging. Maybe not negative, but neutral if it works fine still and didnt pick up any new imperfections. But state the shitty packaging and slow shipping.

I am gonna take a guess and say that the seller prob didnt leave you feedback yet?

that completely blows and am sorry it happened. I had the same thing happen to me once, but the deck wasn't even wrapped with paper. I would ask to return it or for a partial refund. If seller says no, then open a case because that is careless and inconsiderate.

Shit like this should never happen. You can buy 9 cubic feet of peanuts on Ebay for like $25 (3 big bags of them and enough for a dozen plus boxes) and 200 feet of bubble wrap for $35. people are so cheap it amazes me. Packaging materials and tape are inexpensive. I am so OCD about packaging that I have gotten messages about how long it took to get the item out - that makes me happy as a seller.

That is a pretty crap job of shipping it, I agree. However did him shipping it that way do any damage to unit, did it arrive as described. I am not saying I agree with shipping stuff that way, I would never do that, that is just asking for something to be broken and you having to refund or make it right.

Before you leave feedback test the unit out, make sure it is still as described. If it fails anything after the horrible shipping job then I would leave negative feedback but not before talking to seller. Give him the chance to make it right, I would also politely either way talk to him about him maybe wanting to improve the way he packages and give him so reason to improve it. If he fails to make it right then you slam the hell out of him.

We all assume that every guy selling something knows what they are doing or have sold or bought many times. It is not like it used to be when everyone around here new each other and traded equipment around, so we knew who was for sure bad or good.

i am the anti-peanut!!!!! there is only one acceptable time to use peanuts for packing: when isolating one box inside of another box. when there are large flat surfaces peanuts work. BUT! for irregular shaped heavy objects peanuts are unnacceptable. the objects WILL work their way to the bottom of the box and essentially be riding directly on the shelf in the big brown truck. i have several speakers to prove this. peanuts are bad.

Test it first, bitch to the seller later. fuck I would be pissed too. priority mail boxes are fucking free and you don't even have to ship priority in them.
can't be cheaper then that. I alway keep packaging material when `i receive shit, have few dozensft3 of that stuff in the basement

Crumpled up, semi-tightly packed newspaper is even cheaper. I've shipped at least 40-50 packages, including fragile stuff and multiple fragile items in one box, and have never had an issue.

Plus, I'm recycling.

crumpled newspaper packed tightly is an excellent method! and free. the key is to pack it tightly. fluffy bad, tight good.

I can verify this! Took me longer to unwrap than it would have taken me to package up and drive to the ship center!!!! Love it

Your lucky the box wasn't crushed during shipping. I have had stuff that was bubbled and double boxed show up and both boxes were broken open and item was damaged.

Will download manual when I get home. Jesus , there must be a black hole that sucks in car audio manuals and remotes. Seems like everyone I get is missing both.

I am going to talk to the guy about his Craptastic packing job.

Hehe. It would be perfect right now if I had a busted deck of same model. I could easily swap and because of his packing he would not know.

I guess I will tell him to do a better job before it cost him
